Closing Match of the Season 2007/08

06th June - Pdg Kecil Bandaran @ 4.30pm. It was the closing match of the season 2007-08. Shavilla6 Senior vs Junior Team for the second time this year.
The Senior team was starting without their regular center back, this is a chance for the Junior team to impress the Manager their capabilities. In the 1st half the Junior created several chances but unable to break the new defence line-up. In the 37th mins the Senior who took the lead after a counter attack from the middle, a direct passed from Riki to the lone striker Izan just outside the box. Izan was going one on one with the Junior goalie & fires a low shot passed the keeper & into the net. It was 1-0 at halftime.
In the 2nd half, the Manager decided to test the junior team by bringing in the Legend Strike partner, akim & ebroy up front with Wan Babak & Katoi playing in the wingside and Sofi as a supporting striker role. The Senior was playing an all out attack formation, a strategy that had test the Junior 11. with a quick short passed played in the middle, the Senior hammered the Junior defence with 4 goals, scored by Ebroy, Akim(2), Dillah(pen.). The Junior team didnt give-up as they tried several time to scored & they finally earned it in the dying mins of the game tru penalty kick, after a mistake from the defence which brought down the Junior midfielder inside the box. Final score Senior (5) - Junior (1)..
