vs Daerah KB - Match Report

21st November 2007 - Assistant manager ‘Agent’ Ak. Razali was in charge of today’s friendly match on behalf of manager Mr. Haris who was tied up with work commitment. ‘Agent’ started with 4-5-1 formation with Dafi ‘Gerak Khas’ as the lone striker up front. Both teams started well, playing fast pace football but the half wet and muddy pitch restricted the players from playing their usual passing game. Our defenders Akim, Baki, Comel and Khalid were able to restrict the opponents to only creating a few chances. Midfielders ‘Ricky boy’ Dayat and Dillah marshalled the centre with Katoi and Bahrin ‘Legend’ making runs from the right and left flanks and Umeh supporting our lone striker up front. As the game went on, the game became more physical and tackles were flying around and at one point the referee was almost tackled due to jersey confusion. Mid way through the first half, we were a goal down when one of the Daerah KB player was left unmarked just inside the left penalty box and send a thunderous shot which left our GK Yusra ‘De Sar’ stunned. In the second half, ‘Agent’ made a tactical change to 4-4-2 formation with Wan ‘Babak’ patnering Dafi ‘Gerak Khas’ up front. Shavilla6 created a lot of chances with one and one chances and threatening shots from our strikers and midfielders. Late in the game, Shavilla6 was awarded a penalty when Wan ‘Babak’ was brought down in the penalty box. He himself took the penalty kick but his shot was saved by the GK. Final score Shavilla6 nil, Daerah KB one. A fair result in which Shavilla6 could end up going home with at least a draw. Congrats Shavilla6!!!!!
